More than 900 students to benefit from Government High School, Haji Khan in District Dadu

More than 900 students to benefit from Government High School, Haji Khan in District Dadu constructed under jointly funded Sindh Basic Education Program (SBEP), the Government High School, Haji Khan, district Dadu opened its doors to around 900 girls and boys.
Member of Provincial Assembly, Dr. Sajeela Manzoor Leghari and Program Director, Sindh Basic Education Program (SBEP), Hafeez Raza Shaikh joined the school handing over ceremony which was held today.
The school handing over ceremony was attended by district education officials, taulka education officials, Sindh Community Mobilization Program staff, representatives from HANDS which is the Education Management Organization (EMO) for this school, community members, students, parents and members of the school management committee. All the participants followed Government’s SOPs related to COVID – 19 pandemic.
The U.S. Government is supporting the construction of 106 modern school buildings in ten districts of Sindh. In addition to constructing schools, SBEP aims to increase and sustain student enrollment in primary, middle, and secondary public schools in Sindh. SBEP also supports the government’s reforms in education, community mobilization, public-private partnerships, and improving reading competencies of students.
